The apprenticeship is delivered over 7 phases - including 3 off-the-job and 4 on-the-job phases - to support your development every step of the way.Whether you're just starting out or looking for a new direction, we welcome applicants of all backgrounds and are committed to creating a workplace where everyone feels valued and empowered to succeed.What you'll do

Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in Data Centre, Industrial, Commercial & Domestic Environments.
Support qualified electricians in tasks such as:

Installing wiring, conduit, and lighting systems.
Testing and inspecting electrical components.
Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and technical diagrams.
Adhering to current electrical regulations and health & safety standards (e.g., ET101, Safe Electric guidelines).
Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and organized manner.
Support network team with IT infrastructure tasks such as:

Remote hands
Server builds
Backbone installations
Fibre cable terminations
Attend and complete required SOLAS off-the-job training phases (in ETBs or Institutes of Technology).
Maintain records of work completed, hours, and training progress as required.

What you'll need

Minimum of Leaving Certificate (or equivalent) with passes in 5 subjects including Maths.
Pass the "Ishihara" Colour Vision Test 24 Plate Edition
Strong interest in electrical systems and willingness to learn.
Good hand-eye coordination and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions.
Minimum of 18 years old on 1st October 2025
