About the Role:We are currently seeking a proactive and highly organised Administrative Assistant to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their workday and thrives in a busy environment. You will work directly with the Person In Charge and Operations Manager to support the smooth running of day-to-day administrative and operational functions within the nursing home.Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide general administrative support to the Operations Manager
  • Maintain and update records, files, and documentation
  • Assist with data entry, report preparation, and document formatting
  • Support compliance and quality audits by preparing required paperwork
  • Help coordinate schedules, meetings, and internal communications
  • Liaise with other departments to ensure timely flow of information
  • Assist with ordering supplies and managing vendor communications
  • Other ad-hoc administrative tasks as required
Requirements:
  • Previous administrative experience in a busy office environment (healthcare setting preferred)
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Discretion and confidentiality are essential
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • A background or experience in the healthcare sector is preferred
