Test Automation Engineer |Contract | GalwayDue to a sudden increase in growth within their market, my client is looking for a Contract Test Automation Engineer to work with them for a minimum of 6 months with possible extension.This role offers an opportunity to work with a market leading organisation during an exciting time of growth and expansion, as well as a competitive daily rate of €400 and hybrid working (2 days on site per week).Responsibilities: Create test cases to identify areas that require improvement in line with the test plan.Develop a testing strategy that will cover all stages of the developmental lifecycle.Identify key issues and ensure that the correct action has been taken by engineersWork to agreed quality standards and industry best practices with a strong drive towards CI/CD, DevOps and automation.Requirements: Experience of complete end to end testing throughout a life cycle modelExperience in testing database management components of applicationsExperience of using software testing tools for both web and desktop applications.Proven experience in developing verification test methods and recording test results.Experience with performance and/or security testing.I specialize in recruiting for Software Testing, if you wish to discuss this or other Software Testing opportunities, please feel free to contact me for a confidential chat.
