- Marketing Strategy & Delivery: Develop and implement insight-led marketing strategies and go-to-market plans that ensure ESB's ecars business retains its market leadership position in a competitive sector. This includes taking commercial objectives and translating these into practical, measurable marketing plans that directly support revenue growth, network utilisation and business expansion across all markets (ROI, NI and GB).
- Commercial & Growth Marketing: Deliver growth-focused marketing initiatives that support customer acquisition, retention and increased usage of the ecars network. Work closely with commercial teams to support pricing, propositions, promotions and go-to-market activity, ensuring marketing investment is tightly aligned to commercial outcomes.
- Leadership: Lead and develop the ecars Marketing team, managing resources to ensure the team operates effectively, delivers against business priorities, and continues to build capability as the business evolves.
- Brand and Customer Experience: Ensure prominence and consistency of branding across all ecars customer touchpoints, including physical infrastructure, signage and communications, supporting a clear, coherent and positive customer experience across the charging network.
- B2B: Lead the development of B2B marketing strategies to support the growth of ecars' commercial proposition. This includes working closely with Business Development teams to support lead generation, proposition development, partner marketing, sales enablement and targeted B2B campaigns.
- Customer Insights: Define and conduct/commission research as needed to support business development and operations across all three markets. Champion a customer-centric perspective in business decision making and operations.
- Proactive PR & Media Management: Develop and implement proactive PR and Influencer strategies, including the promotion of new site launches and network expansion. Work closely with Corporate Press office on media queries and issue management.
- Budget and Performance Management: Manage marketing budgets, monitor, and report on effectiveness of all marketing campaigns to maximise the return from on marketing budgets to deliver customer awareness, sign-ups, usage, and revenues.
- Minimum of 7 years Marketing, PR or Communications experience.
- Degree level qualification in a Marketing, Communications, PR or related discipline or equivalent work experience.
- Demonstrated experience using marketing to drive business growth, customer acquisition and revenue in a competitive, fast-moving environment.
- Problem solving and analytical skills and proven ability to deliver projects within time and budget.
- Strong Interpersonal skills with an ability to lead and develop successful teams.
- A track record in planning, delivering, and evaluating marketing strategies and campaigns.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Full clean Irish driving licence.
- Experience of managing diverse stakeholder groups.
- Experience in retail, consumer, or growth-focused marketing roles.
- Experience supporting new product launches or scaling new propositions in market.
- Knowledge of EV competitive market in ROI.
