You will collaborate with catering managers, dietitians and healthcare teams to ensure meals meet clinical, dietary and nutritional requirements.This role suits chefs who prefer structured healthcare work over late-night hospitality shifts.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and present meals aligned with clinical and dietary guidelinesSupport daily kitchen operations to ensure efficient service deliveryFollow HACCP, food safety, hygiene and cook-chill proceduresManage stock rotation, storage, labelling and waste controlMaintain portion control and allergen complianceWork closely with catering and healthcare teamsMaintain a clean, organised and compliant healthcare kitchenRequirementsQQI Level 6 in Culinary Arts or equivalent chef qualificationExperience as a Hospital Chef, Healthcare Chef or Catering ChefStrong knowledge of HACCP and cook-chill systemsLegal right to work in IrelandAbility to provide 5 years of verifiable work referencesReliable, organised and comfortable working in structured environmentsGarda Vetting is mandatory for relevant roles.International Police Clearance is required where a candidate has lived or worked outside Ireland for 6 months or more since the age of 16Pay & Benefits€20.50 per hourDouble pay on Sundays and Bank HolidaysDaytime shifts only – no late nightsMonday–Sunday roster depending on service needsStructured healthcare catering environmentOngoing training and development opportunitiesSupport from 3Q Recruitment’s office and out-of-hours teamOpportunities for longer-term placements
