Hospital Chef – Dublin 7 | Healthcare Catering Role3Q Recruitment is recruiting an experienced Hospital Chef to join a busy healthcare facility in Dublin 7, preparing high-quality, nutritious meals that directly support patient care and wellbeing.This role is ideal for chefs with experience in hospital kitchens, healthcare catering or high-volume food service environments who are seeking full-time daytime hours, stability and meaningful work.The RoleWorking within a regulated healthcare kitchen, you will deliver safe, consistent and high-quality meals in line with clinical and dietary requirements. You will work closely with catering managers, dietitians and healthcare teams to ensure efficient and reliable service delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and present meals aligned with dietary and clinical guidelinesSupport daily kitchen operations and maintain consistent service standardsWork across food preparation, cooking, plating and service areasFollow HACCP, food safety, hygiene and cook-chill proceduresManage stock rotation, storage, labelling and waste controlMaintain portion control and allergen complianceCollaborate with dietitians and healthcare teams on menu requirementsMaintain a clean, organised and compliant healthcare kitchenRequirementsQQI Level 6 in Culinary Arts or equivalent chef qualificationExperience in hospital, healthcare or high-volume catering kitchensStrong knowledge of HACCP and cook-chill systemsLegal right to work in IrelandAbility to provide 5 years of verifiable work referencesStrong communication and organisational skillsFlexibility to work across a rosterGarda Vetting is mandatory for relevant roles.International Police Clearance is required where a candidate has lived or worked outside Ireland for 6 months or more since the age of 16Pay & Benefits€20.50 per hourDouble pay on Sundays and Bank HolidaysFull-time hours with daytime shifts onlyNo late-night or overnight workMonday–Sunday rosterStructured healthcare catering environmentOngoing training and career development opportunitiesSupport from 3Q Recruitment’s office and out-of-hours teams
