- Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with all units to understand and meet procurement needs.
- Source goods and services in line with organizational policies and public procurement guidelines, including green procurement.
- Prepare and issue tender documents, evaluate responses, and support contract award processes.
- Manage procurement processes from start to finish, including purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and conducting tenders.
- Ensure compliance with procurement guidelines and manage the eTenders platform.
- Maintain and update the contract register, ensuring data integrity and timely renewals.
- Generate monthly procurement reports and assist with audit enquiries.
- Deliver procurement training and ensure best practices are adhered to by all staff.
- A qualification of at least level 6 on the National Framework of Qualifications or a minimum of 3 years' relevant procurement experience.
- Working knowledge of Public Procurement Directives, National Procurement Policy, and relevant circulars in Ireland.
- Experience with the Office of Government Procurement (OGP) and procurement frameworks.
- Strong organizational and priority-setting skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in IT and Microsoft Office.
- Experience in managing and implementing corporate procurement plans.
