Leveraging expertise SAP, RapidResponse and SIOP processes, you will help align operational execution with strategic goals, supporting the business in making faster, data-driven decisions.Ideal for a proactive and strategic thinker, this role offers the chance to operated in a dynamic environment and shape best practices.Every day, we rise to the challenge to make a difference and here’s how the Senior Manager Global Inventory (12 months fixed term contract) role will make an impact:Inventory Planning & ManagementDevelop and manage global inventory budgets and rolling forecastsDrive inventory optimisation strategies to improve turns and reduce risk/excess/obsolete inventoryEnsure alignment of inventory planning with demand forecasts and supply constraintsWorking Capital OptimisationLead initiatives to improve working capital performance through efficient inventory management at market and regional levelMonitor KPIs (Days Inventory Outstanding, Inventory Turns) and deliver actionable insightsCross-functional CollaborationPartner closely with Supply Chain, Finance, Treasury, Procurement, Commercial and Operations teams to understand drivers of inventory variabilityFacilitate alignment and decision-making across regional and functional teamsRoot Cause Analysis & Issue ResolutionInvestigate deviations from inventory plans and drive corrective actionsLead deep-dive analysis into stock imbalances, slow-moving inventory and forecast inaccuraciesLead reconciliation and analyses of financial and supply chain bookingsPredictive/Prescriptive Analytics & Risk ManagementDevelop and implement predictive models to identify future risks and opportunities in inventoryUtilise advanced analytics to simulate scenarios and guide inventory-related decisionsProcess & System ImprovementChampion system and process improvements related to inventory visibility, analytics and reporting – deliver dashboardsSupport digital transformation initiatives, including AI/ML inventory tools and ERP enhancementsAbout Your Skills & ExperienceFor this role, we’re looking for a candidate who has an effective combination of the following qualifications, skills and experiences:Proven experience in supply chain managementInventory planning experience at global or regional levelBachelors degree or equivalentSupply Chain qualification is beneficialExtensive advanced planning system and SAP ERP experience are essential for this roleAnalytical, problem-solver and continuous improvement mindset are essentialSelf-motivated and capable of making well informed decisionsPower BI experience is beneficialMicrosoft Office essential, excel, powerpointAdditional requirements on the experience requirements for the role:Proven track record of positively influencing at a senior levelDemonstrated ability to perform in an environment where flexibility and agility are keyResilience and determination to enable the delivery of exceptional business process performanceInnovative mind-set and interest in evolving industry trends and technologiesSolid general management, leadership, and organizational skills.Ability to recommend practical ways using innovation, good judgment, creativity and strategic thinking.At Viatris, we are dedicated to building a truly diverse, inclusive and authentic workplace, so if you’re excited about this role but your past experience doesn’t fully align with every requirement, we still encourage you to apply.
