Salary: €60,000 per annumThe Noel Group is delighted to be partnering with a distinguished 4-star hotel in the historic town of Trim to recruit a talented and driven Deputy General Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to become a senior leader within a highly respected property known for delivering exceptional hospitality and outstanding guest experiences.Working alongside the General Manager, you will be instrumental in the smooth and efficient running of the hotel's day-to-day operations. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires a confident, people-oriented professional with a passion for service excellence and operational performance in a fast-paced hotel environment.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the General Manager in managing all aspects of the hotel's daily operations.Provide strategic leadership across key departments including Front Office, Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, and Events.Motivate and guide departmental managers and their teams to consistently meet service quality and revenue goals.Maintain exceptional guest service standards and take ownership of managing and resolving guest feedback.Assist with financial planning, budgeting, and monitoring of operational performance.Ensure full adherence to all health & safety regulations and company operational procedures.Promote a positive, high-performing workplace culture focused on staff development, engagement, and retention.Candidate ProfilePrevious experience in a Deputy General Manager or comparable senior operational role within a 4-star (or similar standard) hotel.A strong background in team leadership, guest service delivery, and multi-departmental oversight.Sound understanding of financial reporting, forecasting, and budget control.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proactive and solutions-focused approach.Ability to manage competing priorities and remain calm under pressure.Must currently reside in Ireland and hold the legal right to work in the Republic of Ireland.
