In return, there is excellent salary, career progression, educational support and much more.AVI Project Manager 1591SimoTech has a new opportunity for an experienced Automated Visual Inspection (AVI) Project Manager to serve as the subject matter expert on all project management activities and resource management for a biopharmaceutical client based in Co. Cork.The successful candidate will have a minimum of 10 years' experience leading project activities across all areas, with a deep understanding of their requirements, development processes, and the ability to design and execute the most effective strategies.Key Responsibilities

Lead the full lifecycle of project planning and implementation, from business case evaluation, bidding and requirements gathering to design, configuration, testing, validation, and go-live, taking full accountability for delivering the project on time, within budget, and to the expected quality standards.
Identify and onboard required project resources and collaborate with teams to drive progress and ensure timely delivery across all project workstreams.
Support local budget management through KPI tracking of cash flow & resource allocation and collaboration with finance team.
Responsible for identifying and ordering long-lead items, confirming shutdown requirements with the business, developing a clear business case rationale document, and ensuring change management needs are identified and included in the execution scope.
Implement and ensure compliance with global standards across the project, support cross-stream project planning, and collaborate with operational users to understand and address their needs.
Provide regular project status updates to stakeholders, lead monthly site-level project meetings, and deliver a monthly project dashboard.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Sciences, Life Sciences or similar.
Minimum 10 years' project management experience within the Pharmaceutical or Life Sciences industry.
Strong knowledge of GMP, manufacturing operations and fill finish process.
Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) highly preferred.
Proficient in project planning tools (MS Project).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to build strong cross-functional relationships, apply analytical problem-solving, make dynamic decisions, plan effectively, and manage stakeholder engagement & senior management reporting.
