Land Acquisition Lead (Renewable Energy Projects)Secure third-party land to support the delivery of renewable energy projects. Focus on strategic, efficient, and commercially sound land acquisition, including options, wayleaves, easements, and leases. Success is measured by timely, cost-effective acquisition and smooth collaboration across teams.Location: Newbridge (Hybrid)Key Responsibilities:Land Negotiation & StrategyDevise and implement landowner negotiation strategies for large-scale development projects.Manage complex agreements (options, leases, wayleaves, easements).Ensure compliance with stakeholder and consultation obligations under NPWS contract.Deal Management & ExecutionLead negotiations with landowners to secure agreements for renewable energy projects.Ensure timely delivery of Heads of Terms to legal teams for contract finalization.Manage third-party valuation processes.Stakeholder RelationsBuild and maintain relationships with landowners, tenant farmers, and land managers.Provide information on projects, infrastructure requirements, and land agreements. * Capture special conditions or requirements during negotiations.Cross-Functional CollaborationLiaise with lawyers, project managers, consultants, and JV partners.Attend consultations and stakeholder meetings.Maintain detailed records of negotiations, risks, and project status.Project Support & ComplianceSupport joint venture partners in land acquisition for renewable energy projects.Co-ordinate title investigations and ensure legal agreements are executed.Comply with Health & Safety, Environmental, and statutory requirements.Performance & GovernanceParticipate in performance management processes to meet individual and team objectives.Ensure all engagement and acquisition activities align with internal governance standards and delegated authority processes.Person Specification;Education & Experience:Hons Degree (Level 8 FETAC) in Land Management, Agriculture, Business, or equivalent.Minimum 6 years' experience in agriculture, forestry, property, project management, or related fields.Familiarity with Irish Property Law and relevant documentation. Experience with renewable energy projects is desirable.Skills & Knowledge:Proven track record of negotiating and concluding agreements with landowners.Strong understanding of land acquisition processes, compensation, and valuation principles.Knowledge of sustainable land management practices and stakeholder management.Excellent negotiation, influencing, presentation, and communication skills.Ability to interpret maps, landforms, and technical information clearly.Attributes & Other Requirements:Self-starter, resilient under pressure, and able to manage sensitive issues diplomatically.Strong organisational, reporting, and time-management skills.Full driving license and own vehicle required.Flexible and able to work outside normal hours as needed. * Proficient in Microsoft Office.Why Choose Clark?
