- Providing accurate cost advice and reporting to our clients
- Assisting Director delivering projects, commissions and professional assignments
- Assuming a leading role in setting objectives and priorities, working as a proactive team player
- Maintaining effective communication to ensure all information is available for the successful completion of projects; liaising with other managers to ensure efficient financial control
- Undertaking commercial management services with limited supervision
- Delivering all work outputs in an accurate and timely manner, working under minimum supervision
- Providing support to the project director in cost management of projects
- Representing the company in a professional and diligent manner; meeting, negotiating and corresponding with clients to form strong working relationships
- Producing Bills of Quantities for M&E works, including medium and high voltage infrastructure works., pre contract budgeting, bid levelling and post contract work.
- BSc in quantity surveying or equivalent
- Membership of the Society of Chartered Surveyors (SCSI) - If not Chartered, on the road to chartership
- A minimum of two years' technical delivery experience
- Experience of Public Sector Procurement in Ireland relating to M&E Services
- Pre- and post-contract experience using PW-CF1 & 5 relating to M&E Services
- Experience of project cost control, including management & negotiation claims
- Good client-facing and communication skills
- Well-organised, diligent, proactive, assertive, well-disciplined and commercially astute
- A team player with a 'can-do' attitude, outgoing, polite, patient, diplomatic, personable, respectful and flexible
- CostX experience preferred, but not essential
- Driving Licence
- Ability to pass Garda Vetting and Security Clearance procedures
