Commitment: 1 clinic per weekRole Overview We are looking for a Doctor with Paediatric assessment experience to join our team for a weekly clinic in Dublin 10, running every Wednesday from July to December 2025. This role is ideal for an experienced doctor with a background in paediatrics and an interest in cardiovascular screening.
You will be working as part of a collaborative care model between ADMiRE and AMS, providing cardiovascular assessments for young patients as part of a structured screening programme.Key Responsibilities
- Review screening history: Confirm and clarify pre-completed cardiac screening questionnaires with the child’s parent/guardian.
Auscultation * Blood pressure and heart rate measurementWeight and height * Identify concerns: If any red flags are present on history or examination, perform an ECG.Collaborate with ADMiRE: Clinical findings will be shared with the ADMiRE prescriber, who will handle follow-up care and refer on to cardiology where necessary.What’s Provided
- Pre-appointment support: ADMiRE will administer cardiac screening questionnaires and schedule appointments in advance (initially via Diarybook).
- Prescribing & follow-up: An ADMiRE prescriber will manage patient follow-up and referrals after your clinical review.
- Full registration with the Irish Medical Council (IMC)
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in paediatrics
- Strong skills in clinical examination and cardiovascular assessment in children
- Ability to work independently in a structured screening setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with children and families
- Desirable Experience
- ECG interpretation in paediatric patients
- Familiarity with paediatric cardiovascular screening programmes
