Assistant Person in Charge/Assistant Director of Nursing, WaterfordAre you a compassionate, experienced nurse looking to take the next step in leadership?Our client is seeking an Assistant Person in Charge (APIC) to join the team and assist in the opening of a brand new state of the art nursing home, while creating a centre which delivers exceptional, person-centred care. within our nursing home.In the role, you will play a key leadership role in ensuring high standards of care, supporting staff, and fostering a warm, respectful, and safe environment for all residents. This role is ideal for a strong clinical leader who is passionate about delivering high-quality care to older people and motivated to support and develop a dedicated team.To be considered for the role, the following criteria will apply:

Active NMBI registration and PIN (An Bord Altranais).
Post-registration qualification in Healthcare Management (or willingness to undertake).
Post-registration qualification in Gerontology or Dementia Care is desirable.
Minimum 6 years' post-registration nursing experience.
Minimum 2 years' experience in a nursing home environment.
Minimum 2 years' experience in a management or supervisory role.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and support a multidisciplinary team.
Proven clinical competence with a passion for delivering outstanding care to older people.
