Location: Dublin City CentreHybrid/Remote: Remote and Hybrid optionsCompensation: €70-75k basic plus bonus, health insurance, life assurance, increasing AL to 30 days etcOur client is a market-leading healthtech company with a global reach. Due to continued growth and investment, the CFO is recruiting a Management Accountant to join the finance team. Due to the nature of the business, the revenue accounting process is of paramount importance and this newly created Management Accountant position will have ownership of the accurate and timey reporting of revenue and providing value-adding insights to aid decision-making, as well as other aspects of management accounting.This role has scope to evolve to a Finance Manager level role for the successful candidate and will work closely with the Head of Finance, wider finance team, sales, marketing and senior leadership team.Responsibilities
  • Ensure timely recognition of revenue to include review of contracts and agreements to ensure accuracy of same
  • Preparation of periodic revenue reports and forecasts
  • Assist in preparation of annual budgets and forecasts
  • Assist in preparation of financial statements
  • Monitor actual revenue against budgeted figures and provide variance analysis of same
  • Implement process improvements across revenue and controls
  • Act as partner to the sales team to understand key revenue drivers and provide financial guidance
Requirements
  • Qualified accountant with 0-3 years PQE, ideally with some exposure to revenue through prior role
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively liaise cross-divisionally
