- Carry out all tasks outlined in the shift task list to a high level.
- Assists in managing efficient & quality food preparation at all assigned sections.
- Participates in the preparation of mise-en-place for all assigned kitchens.
- Maintains proper rotation of product in all chillers to minimize wastage/spoilage.
- Adapts an entrepreneurial approach by; continuously seeking out areas for improvement and addressing those through innovative solutions and by initiating change.
- Actively contributes to the departmental key performance indicators listed under span of control.
- Previous experience in a similar position.
- Be courteous and focused on providing a consistently high standard of customer service.
- Be standards driven and detail-orientated.
- The ability to multi-task in fast-paced environment.
- Be flexible, both early and late shift roster.
- A good command of the English Language.
- Detailed knowledge of HACCP.
- Relevant professional qualification.
