- Partner closely with Corporate Sales Managers to lead the RFP/RFQ process and leverage internal resources to define our Win Strategy and deliver exceptional, highly tailored proposal responses
- Lead the review of Sysco's existing repository of approved proposal responses to ensure accuracy and clear messaging of Sysco's credentials and track record of delivering compelling food service product and service solutions
- Partner with subject matter experts from other teams - including Merchandising, Supply Chain, Sustainability, Operations and Marketing - to develop compelling, value-based messaging for Sysco's product and service proposition
- Track and analyse key proposal metrics to measure effectiveness, identify areas of improvement, and support data-driven decision making across the proposal process
- Provide monthly updates on the proposal development pipeline to the Head of Corporate Sales and Commercial Director
- Coach team members on the ongoing development of engaging proposal responses that are well tailored based on the potential customers' needs and industry
- Experience working in a Proposal/Bid Manager role
- Excellent project management skills including the ability to organise and lead multiple different teams on simultaneous proposal response efforts
- Exceptional writing and communication skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to craft tailored messaging for diverse audiences
- Self-motivated and adaptable, with the ability to shift priorities and remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Skilled at building strong, collaborative relationships with stakeholders across teams, fostering alignment throughout the proposal process
- Operates with integrity and respect in everything you do
- Familiarity with key tools like PowerPoint, Smart Sheet etc with an eye for formatting, consistency, and clarity in proposal content
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
- Experience supporting sales strategies to improve the effectiveness of sales teams
- Knowledge of the Foodservice industry
- Experience of working within a fast growth company
- Experience with Salesforce and proposal management software
