If so, we invite you to join our Dairy Enzyme RDA team at Kerry, where we're committed to transforming the dairy industry in close collaboration with our customers.We are currently seeking a Senior Scientist to join our Dairy Enzyme Application Team. In this role, you will lead the application development of new enzyme products for the dairy industry, acting as both a project manager and subject matter expert. You'll work cross-functionally with global teams, support key customers, and guide the scientific direction of enzyme applications through lab and pilot plant trials.This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-growing segment within Kerry, with strong potential for professional development and career progression.Key responsibilities

Lead dairy enzyme application development for new product innovation
Serve as subject matter expert for Kerry's dairy enzyme portfolio
Manage global cross-functional projects, including customer collaborations
Plan and execute laboratory experiments and pilot plant trials
Support intellectual property efforts, including patent filings and cases
Contribute to innovation scouting and competitor benchmarking
Travel up to 10% for customer engagements and internal meetings

Qualifications and skills

PhD in Biochemistry, Biochemical Engineering, Dairy Science, or a related field
Proven experience in enzyme research or application, ideally within dairy
Strong project management skills, with a track record of taking products from concept to launch
Proficiency in statistical analysis and data interpretation
Experience in patent writing and a working understanding of patent legislation
Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English
Strong stakeholder management and ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams
