We support customers across Europe, North America, and Asia, delivering tailored engineering services that drive long-term success.Position SummaryNeoDyne is seeking a highly experienced Senior OT Cybersecurity Analyst to support one of our key customers on a long-term contract basis. The successful candidate will be embedded in the security operations team and will also work closely with the NeoDyne team and play a critical role in delivering OT cybersecurity expertise across multiple sites. This is a technically hands-on role focused on network security, firewall management, threat detection, and secure remote access, with oversight of key systems and vendors. The position will be based in Cork with a requirement to visit the customer's Cork office at least twice a week with travel to other sites as required.Key Responsibilities
  • Lead day-to-day support for cyber operations across multiple remote sites.
  • Manage and maintain firewall infrastructure (Palo Alto, CheckPoint, Cisco).
  • Operate and monitor remote access platforms (e.g. Secomea, BeyondTrust), ensuring proper auditing and logging.
  • Conduct regular threat & vulnerability scanning, manage penetration testing, and drive remediation efforts.
  • Assist in incident response and investigation of security alerts within ICS environments.
  • Support cyber maintenance, patching, and system hardening activities.
  • Maintain access control, password management, and ICS-specific security controls.
  • Define and track ICS cyber KPIs and participate in governance reviews.
  • Liaise with internal teams and manage third-party vendors and contractors.
  • Ensure alignment with regulatory frameworks (e.g., IEC 62443, NISD, ISO 27001, NIST).
Experience & SkillsRequired
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in cybersecurity, ICS/OT operations, or infrastructure security roles.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Firewalls: Palo Alto, CheckPoint
  • Proven expertise in Networking: Cisco switches/routers, VLANs, routing protocols
  • Solid understanding of ICS/OT environments, including RTUs, PLCs, SCADA systems.
  • Experience with threat & vulnerability management and penetration testing coordination.
  • Familiarity with remote access technologies and best practices for secure connectivity.
  • Strong troubleshooting, coordination, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage third-party vendors and technical partners.
Desired
  • Experience with Claroty IDS or similar OT monitoring platforms.
  • Experience with Secomea or BeyondTrust remote access tools.
  • Exposure to Active Directory, Symantec Endpoint Protection, and password vaulting solutions.
  • Previous work in critical infrastructure, utilities, or energy environments.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks: IEC 62443, NISD, ISO 27001, NIST.
  • Experience defining and reporting security KPIs and supporting audit or compliance reviews.
