That is why we are In it for life. You will be responsible to::Performs maintenance on equipment and systems (e.g., mechanical, electrical). Evaluates and recommends equipment improvements to increase reliability, capability and yield. Performs equipment condition analysis (during preventive and unscheduled maintenance). Troubleshoots and diagnoses equipment problems / failures. Prepares technical reports to document equipment modifications and equipment maintenance procedures.
  • Ensure all plant equipment including steam boilers, chillers and air compressers and water treatment plants are maintained.
  • Ensure all maintenance work is performed in compliance with GMP directives.
Manage and support the TMs assigned to his/her area of responsibility, namely in terms of recruitment, integration, training needs and performance management in accordance with the company's HR policies.Translate business cascade goals into departmental and individual goals and clearly communicate goals to team.Providing leadership and direction to colleagues within the area to ensure that goals, targets and expectations are communicated clearly.Appraise team performance, coaching team members to elevate their performance through development plans and address poor performance through improvement plans together with HR business partner. * Troubleshoot complex problems related to equipment failure and be able to recommend the best course of action for the effective repair of the same
  • Management of capex projects to completion, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.
  • Responsible for generating annual master plans for the area including costs and resource requirements and clearly defining on how success will be measured for the area responsible;
  • Support the technical development of the team to enable them to plan the day to day priorities and site maintenance work
  • Participate in definition and assure follow-up of key performance indicators (KPI) for utilities equipment performance, as well as, for outsourcing services.
  • Assist in ensuring that current compliance issues and trends, both internal and site-wide, are critically evaluated and training is provided where appropriate.
  • Participate, control and correct budget activities. Promote good maintenance practices in the area.
  • Coordinate with other areas the fulfilment of maintenance plans
  • Guarantee that cGMP rules and procedures are respected within the area, assure that outsource contractors acknowledge internal procedures.
We are looking to recruit a Candidate::
  • Degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical, Electrical & Electronic or Instrumentation or related field.
  • 6 years minimum experience in maintenance of an industry environment, preferably in the food, chemical or pharmaceutical industry.
  • 4 years minimum people management experience.
  • Effective time management skills and the ability to multitask.
  • Good communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Skilled at managing processes and tools
  • Fluency in English is a requirement
  • Must have the Knowledge, Experience and Skills to conduct their tasks in accordance with the rules and procedures set down.
