Minimum qualifications:
  • Experience in Google Ads sales.
  • Experience in sales, including various sales techniques (e.g., effective questioning, objection handling, pitching).
  • Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.
  • Ability to communicate in English and German fluently to support client engagements.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience strategically assessing and achieving client success via sales techniques, including effective questioning, objection handling, compelling narratives, storytelling, and competitive selling.
  • Knowledge of online marketing strategy and tactics, including expertise in managing digital advertising campaigns with a focus on performance marketing.
  • Knowledge of agency business models, customer retention, growth, and new business acquisition for agencies.
  • Ability to lead and manage multiple projects with a broad range of internal and external constituents simultaneously.
  • Ability to own a portfolio in a sales context and drive growth.

Using your effective communication skills, you are the face of Google to a portfolio of clients whose needs you listen to, and help define the strategy for how their products and services can reach thousands or millions of users.The Agency Partnership team drives customer success by partnering with a wide range of digital-first media agencies in Germany.As a Strategic Agency Manager, you will primarily focus on C-level stakeholder relationships and co-create business growth strategies with a portfolio of agencies by identifying and executing opportunities for growth. You will focus on increasing digital capabilities and strengthening long-term commercial growth partnerships within our GCS agencies, driving scalable business growth and product adoption across the broader portfolio of agency-managed accounts. You will drive alignment on the allocation of strategic resources for these agencies to fuel your growth enablement initiatives, collaborating with client strategists and product specialists to deliver mutual growth to our agencies, their customers, and to Google. You‘ll also develop the acquisition and offer capabilities of your assigned agencies across all levels of the organization in order to enable sustainable business growth for all parties.When our millions of advertisers and publishers are happy, so are we!   • Deliver against ambitious quarterly business and product goals. Grow agency business by driving scalable product adoption and growth across a broad portfolio of agency clients.
  • Own a portfolio of agencies by thoroughly understanding growth drivers, identifying opportunities for growth, managing risks, and building multi-quarter plans for achievement.
  • Work towards long-term strategic goals on new and existing business consistently, while prioritizing and delivering outstanding experiences to Google's agency partners.
  • Manage and strengthen primary agency relationships from C-level all the way down, including Media Planners and Buyers.
  • Shape the agency team strategy by being a thought partner for the leadership team internally on strategic initiatives and agency-level planning.
