This role involves leading a team to deliver high-quality, person-centred supports, enabling individuals to live independently, develop skills, and actively engage in their communities.Role Responsibilities:
- Lead and support a team to deliver person-centred care
- Ensure supports are delivered in line with individual care plans
- Promote independence, community participation, and skill development
- Support individuals with daily living activities, including personal care
- Foster a positive, respectful, and engaging environment
- Minimum 1 year’s recent experience as a Social Care Worker supporting individuals with complex needs
- Experience supervising or managing a team
- Strong understanding of social care legislation and best practice
- Knowledge of the needs and rights of individuals with autism
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work on own initiative and manage team rotas
- Experience leading meetings and supporting staff
- Full manual driver’s licence (essential)
