- Prepare business plans for the Ardmac Interior business unit, ensuring that we continuously improve market share in the sector.
- Deliver the approved annual budget as agreed with the Board & CEO.
- Establish and implement organizational structures that meet the ongoing needs of the business unit.
- Set clear objectives for the business unit and share regular updates on progress against same.
- Regularly review operational delivery to ensure that customer expectations are exceeded at every opportunity.
- Take full responsibility for achieving revenue and contribution margin targets.
- Upholding Ardmac’s guiding principle of Safety First and foster a healthy and injury free workplace.
- Enhance the Ardmac brand values in all aspects for the Groups operations.
- Maintain active relationships with identified key customers (both current and prospective).
- Develop and agree a competitive work winning strategy in respect of individual tenders.
- Work with the Commercial Director in the settlement of potential claims in a pragmatic way, and manage/mitigate risks to the business.
- Deliver through the local management team a top-class delivery service across the BU operations.
- Drive innovation across all areas of the business unit and champion continuous improvement as a way of working and thinking.
- Prepare business cases to take advantage of an unforeseen business opportunities.
- Construction Qualification/Background with some variation of Leadership Development training.
- Thinks strategically and is able to efficiently deliver business unit objectives
- Knowledge of the local Interiors market, customers, suppliers and other stakeholders.
- Strategic Planning
- Knowledge of construction, commercial and procurement related processes.
- CRM skills – customer knowledge
- Commercial / financial acumen
- Proficient with reporting tools and measurement systems.
- Development and mentoring of managers and team members.
- Development of a succession plan for key roles within the BU.
- Management of training and development for the team.
- Annual and interim performance reviews, development conversations and check-ins.
- Support the company graduate development program as a key business leader.
