- Provide expert tax consultancy and advisory services across various industries.
- Develop and implement effective tax planning strategies tailored to client needs.
- Prepare and present comprehensive tax planning reports to clients and stakeholders.
- Work collaboratively with other departments and external advisors to deliver a holistic consulting service.
- Conduct tax research and maintain up-to-date knowledge of evolving tax legislation.
- Train, mentor, and support junior staff to aid their development and performance.
- Review and manage deliverables produced by junior staff to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Lead tax consultancy projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, contributing to the firm's growth.
- Assist with the operational management of the Cork tax department, including oversight of WIP, debtors, billings, and fee collections.
- Qualified CTA (Chartered Tax Adviser) essential.
- Accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA or equivalent) is desirable but not essential.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in tax consultancy and advisory services.
- Strong technical expertise across multiple tax areas.
- Proven ability to manage a team and delegate effectively.
- Excellent project management skills with a track record of delivering results.
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to build strong client relationships and manage client expectations.
