- Respond to queries accurately and efficiently
- Coordinate event details with all hotel departments
- Create timelines and communicate plans clearly to operations teams
- Manage suppliers and pre-event preparations
- Oversee events on the day and resolve issues calmly
- Maintain organised and up-to-date event files
- Prepare planning schedules and operational reports
- Uphold brand and service standards across all events
- Support showcase events and promotional activity when required
- Monitor planning milestones and client progress
- Ensure departments receive correct event information
- Take ownership of problems and resolve them efficiently
- Adapt plans where necessary while maintaining service standards
- Represent the hotel professionally to guests and clients
- Ensure the agreed schedule is delivered successfully
- Previous experience in a hotel, venue or event environment
- Experience dealing directly with clients in a professional setting
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Confident using email, documents and scheduling systems daily
- Weddings or large-scale events
- Creating function sheets / event orders
- Coordinating suppliers
- Hospitality PMS or event systems
- Weekend work
- Some evenings
- Event day supervision
