Sales Manager
CREGG are seeking an experienced and hands-on Sales Manager to join our client within the construction and furniture sector. This role will be based between their Roscommon and Galway offices. This is a full-time permanent position, and the successful candidate will join the senior leadership team. The Sales Manager will be responsible for managing a team of 12 staff, driving sales growth and will work closely with the CEO on the continued development of the company.Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead, motivate, and develop a team of 12 showroom designers, including 5 recent hires requiring close training and mentoring Secure opportunities for the company to price and bid on projects
  • Achieve and exceed ambitious residential sales targets through pipeline management and data-driven planning. Serve as the primary point of contact for site foremen and quantity surveyors.
  • Develop and maintain a profitable customer portfolio, generating new leads and repeat business. Establish and track sales targets, ensuring performance aligns with business objectives.
  • Actively network and represent the company at industry events and in the residential market.
  • Provide clear, concise KPI updates at weekly CEO meetings and monthly management meetings - focusing on fast, actionable insights.
  • Partner with the CEO on the design, fit-out, and project management of new and existing showrooms.
  • Streamline sales and ordering processes, enabling staff to achieve more with less effort.
  • Forecast profit margins, overheads, and overall financial performance.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Proven experience in a similar or more senior role within the kitchen, interiors, or luxury residential sector - industry expertise is essential.
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing and motivating teams of 10+ direct reports.
  • Hands-on product and design knowledge, with the ability to step in and support designers when required.
  • Commercially astute, with experience meeting or exceeding multi-million-euro sales targets.
  • Skilled in KPI management, with the ability to create dashboards and reports for fast, decision-focused updates.
  • Demonstrated ability to build morale, retain staff, and develop positive team cultures.
  • Strategic thinker, open to continuous learning and self-improvement, for both personal and team growth.
