This role is ideal for a Registered Nurse or Social Care Worker who is passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care in the community.You will be supported by an experienced Clinical Nurse Manager, who will act as your mentor as you grow into the role.Role OverviewAs a Community Care Supervisor, you will play a key part in ensuring the delivery of safe, effective, and compassionate care to our customers. Your responsibilities will include:Core Duties
  • Conduct comprehensive customer risk assessments and develop person-centred care plans.
  • Provide support, supervision, and guidance to Care Staff.
  • Monitor and uphold care quality standards across community services.
  • Support and manage the performance and practice of Care Assistants.
  • Offer professional expertise to enhance existing care arrangements.
  • Work closely with the Clinical Nurse Manager and Director of Care.
Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver excellent, evidence-based care aligned with individual care plans.
  • Mentor and support community-based Care Staff, including conducting supervision visits in clients' homes.
  • Provide direct client support when required. (This should be very minimal)
  • Promote and maintain best practice standards in care and customer welfare.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Registered Nurse (NMBI) or Social Care Worker (CORU) - essential.
  • Minimum 2 years post-registration experience; community care experience is an advantage.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Demonstrated kindness, respect, and compassion in care delivery.
  • IT proficiency required.
  • Full driving licence essential.
What We Offer
  • Full-time, permanent role (40 hours per week, will be occasional Saturday daytime hours to support weekend only clients & staff).
  • Salary €40,000 -€43,000 plus achievable bonus.
  • Predominantly Monday-Friday, daytime hours.
