- Lead, inspire and develop the kitchen team, fostering a culture of excellence, professionalism and continuous learning
- Create, execute and evolve seasonal menus that reflect the Oak Room's identity and Adare Manor's culinary philosophy
- Maintain the highest standards of food quality, presentation and consistency across all services
- Work closely with Mike Tweedie and the wider culinary leadership team to deliver strategic culinary objectives
- Manage food costs, labour budgets and stock control effectively, ensuring commercial performance without compromise on quality
- Ensure full compliance with HACCP, food safety and health & safety standards at all times
- Support recruitment, training, performance management and succession planning within the kitchen team
- Collaborate cross-functionally with front-of-house and wider hotel teams to deliver a seamless guest experience
- Significant experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a fine dining or luxury hotel environment
- Exposure to Michelin-starred or award-winning kitchens (highly desirable)
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team
- Excellent communication, organisation and time-management skills
- Strong technical culinary expertise and a deep understanding of modern cooking techniques and classical foundations
- Proven experience managing food costs, labour and kitchen operations in a high-volume, high-standard environment
