Solar Path is a growing Solar PV installation company based in Cork city. We have an active team that we are looking to expand, with the possibility for the right candidate to run their own roofing team.We are looking for a self motivated Solar PV Roofer/ Installer to join our busy installation team in Munster. The role will involve working on sites across Munster, setting scaffolding and installing solar PV panels on our customers’ properties, ensuring complaince with building regulations, SEAI and the company health and safety requirements.ResponsibilitiesErecting and disassembling aluminium scaffolding towers.Installing solar PV systems, consisting of solar panels and mounting systems on domestic, commercial and agricultural roofs.Engage with homeowners and advise on works being undertaken or changes to initial scope of works.Complete works to a high standard and within the time allocated for the project.Capture and submit all required photographs and other information required for the project.RequirementsRoofing/Carpentry qualification is very important but not a critical requirement.At least 2 years roofing experience on a variety of different roof types, including minimum 1 year in stalling Solar PV panels.Passion for what you do and have pride in your work is criticalAbility to build relationships and communicate effectively with internal staff and customers where requiredMust be self motivated, ambitious and driven.We are focused on working with all staff to foster a team spirit, recognising that working together makes the installations run smoothly, and keeping everyone satisfied with their day to day experience working with us.Job compensation€55,000 for the right candidate.
