
Sales & Events Coordinator

- Sell and develop our function rooms for private and corporate events, ensuring we meet revenue targets.
- Build and maintain relationships with local businesses, organisations, and key partners.
- Represent MJ Wright at industry and networking events (e.g. Dublin Chamber of Commerce, Fáilte Ireland events).
- Work closely with our management, kitchen, and bar teams to ensure events run smoothly from enquiry to execution.
- Create and deliver engaging proposals tailored to client needs.
- Keep an eye on market trends and competitor activity to spot new opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records of enquiries, leads, and bookings.
- Help develop promotional materials and campaigns for our events offering.
- Cross promote where applicable across The Wright Group. For example, The Bloody Stream, Wrights Findlater Howth and Wrights Anglers Rest
- Experience in sales, events, or hospitality (ideally all three!).
- A natural networker – confident starting conversations and building rapport.
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach.
- Flexible schedule – some evening and weekend work will be part of the job to ensure client events run smoothly.
