Job Description:Westcare Homecare are recruiting for multiple healthcare assistants in Westport, Mayo for HSE clients.We offer guaranteed hours and immediate start after vetting received. You will be community based to assist in providing care for the most vulnerable in our society. You will be joining a strong team of excellent carers, you will receive support and encouragement from your colleagues and local office.Salary and BenefitsThis position offers up to €21.50 an hour for qualified Healthcare Assistants.

Your ResponsibilitiesA healthcare assistant supports nurses and other medical staff by providing basic patient care, such as helping with washing, dressing, feeding, and mobility. They monitor patients' conditions, take vital signs, and report any changes to the clinical team. Healthcare assistants also help maintain a clean and safe environment and offer emotional support to patients. Their role is essential in ensuring the comfort and dignity of those receiving care.Requirements

Completed in QQI Level 5, working towards or willing to commence
Full clean Irish Driving License and access to own car
Relevant experience in the Healthcare sector
Up to date trainings (PMH, First Aid, HSE Land)
