Access is Healthcare is currently seeking compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistants to join our team in a residential care setting in Westport, Co. Mayo. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of residents by providing high-quality, person-centred care in a supportive environment.Key Responsibilities:

Support residents in maintaining independence and dignity at all times
Follow individual care plans and contribute to their ongoing review
Monitor and report any changes in residents’ physical or emotional wellbeing
Work collaboratively with nursing staff and multidisciplinary teams
Ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents

Requirements:

QQI Level 5
Previous experience in a residential or healthcare setting is desirable
A genuine interest in caring for others, particularly older persons
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently
Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends
Eligibility to work in Ireland
