Job DescriptionOverviewAtkinsRéalis is one of the world’s leading providers of engineering professional consulting and support services, with offices across Ireland. We are seeking a Senior Project Manager with significant civils experience, who will initially work on aviation projects, to join our Galway office. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to major infrastructure developments in the aviation sector and subsequently other diverse public and private projects within a multidisciplinary environment.In this role, you will Lead projects as a client-facing Project Manager, ensuring successful delivery, particularly focusing on aviation and civil engineering schemes. Contribute to innovative and high-quality engineering solutions.The candidate should be self-motivated, enthusiastic, hardworking, flexible, willing to take responsibility and comfortable working as part of a team.Your Role

Project Management / Leadership: Lead and manage engineering projects from concept to completion, with an initial emphasis on aviation and civils works. Managing design deliver programmes and milestones, with relevant client programme reporting.
PSC Contract management: Act as the primary client liaison, ensuring clear communication and project alignment.
Financial management of project delivery: Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality results on time and within budget.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and graduates.
Preparation of project reports (Planning, Tender, Construction Stage).
Support business growth by building and maintaining strong client relationships.
Assist in preparing proposals, bids, and tender documentation, including for aviation and civils projects.
Identify new opportunities and contribute to strategic planning.

About you

Chartered Engineer / Chartered Project Professional.
Previous experience managing aviation and civils projects from commencement to handover.
Good communication skills and can prioritise and manage workload effectively.
Proficient in MS Office Suite.
