A great opportunity for a Financial Controller to join a growing business and streamline financial reporting to support the business expansion internationally.Reporting to the CEO, this role will be hands-on in the day to day accounting function supported by the admin team. You will be looking for a broad role covering a wide area of responsibility within the business.This role is flexible hours based in the office in Ballsbridge, Dublin 4 or hybrid with remote working option part of the week.Key Responsibilities:
Production of monthly P&L, balance sheet and management reporting pack
Preparation of sales invoices and submission; including cross referencing of payroll hours reports, tracking billable expenses and client PO tracking and reporting.
Monthly review of debtors and creditors ledgers and payment collection.
Preparation, reconciliation and filing of revenue VAT and payroll tax returns in Ireland, the UK, Germany, France, the Netherlands and Romania
Budget and forecast management across all departments – HR, Operations, Training, Management and Office.
Internal PO system management
Conduct annual RFPs for supplier services, and in particular our security partners across Europe, our uniform and telecom suppliers and our IT partners
Monthly Financial Reconciliations
BIF Reporting
Ensure accuracy of Subcontractor Invoices and matching hours of service and cross billing to client
Prepare Cash Flow Projections for a Two Month period to manage cash flow
Ability to identify process improvements and cost savings
Carry out review and costing of profitability of current and potential customers
Ad hoc projects
Liaise with both internal and external auditors as required.
Requirements
Degree qualified with professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA or CPA)
Minimum 5 years' experience in a finance function management role. Knowledge of other European jurisdictions an advantage
Experience within the SME sector or working with an owner managed business an advantage
Must be able to work on own initiative
Proficient in financial software and tools; excellent Word and Excel skills, experience of Sage is essential
