We are looking for a proactive and highly organised Commercial Assistant to support the Brandshapers team within our Category and Customer function. You will support customers, clients and internal teams to ensure our promotional activity, category processes and commercial operations run smoothly.Customer and Client Support
- Create and submit customer new line forms and promotional proposals
- Maintain promotional calendars for allocated customers and brands
- Complete internal process forms including new listings, promotions and price changes
- Follow up on promotional submissions with assistant buyers and liaise with business managers as needed
- Manage customer portals, ensuring accuracy of all pricing and product data
- Keep master promotional trackers up to date for allocated brands
- Support customer recharges, promotional claims, accruals and prepay management
- Provide general customer and client management support
- Support the Sales Operations and Planning Manager with performance reporting and monthly field team briefings
- Provide general administration support to ensure smooth running of field sales activities
- Generate analytical reports for business managers to support data driven decision making
- Assist with trade shows, events and product sample coordination
- Provide broader office support including courier management, post, IT onboarding for new joiners and fleet administration
- Advanced Excel skills, with the ability to analyse sales performance data and produce clear, accurate reports
- Confident user of IT systems including Office 365 and ideally SAP
- High level of numeracy and analytical capability
- Ability to anticipate issues, investigate effectively and solve problems in a timely manner
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage, prioritise and deliver against deadlines
- Confident communicator, able to build positive relationships with colleagues, customers, clients and suppliers
- Previous administration experience within a busy office environment is essential
- Experience in a customer or client facing role is essential
- Experience in a similar commercial, sales support or retail environment would be beneficial
- Exposure to a wide range of commercial operations
