Our client are operate within the construction sector and are currently undergoing a restructure in their finance team after recently being acquired, to strengthen their finance team they are seeking to appoint a Part Qualified Accountant.The Role: Assistant Accountant / Part Qualified AccountantThis role is a general role within a busy Finance function of a growing organisation. This role reports to the Finance Director and will gain exposure to all areas of finance in line with progression of the Accountancy exams.
- Full ownership of AP
- Bank reconciliations and bank account management
- Preparation of key metrics and automating reporting process
- Management of overheads and cost control
- Assist with management of audit
- Preparation and filing of statutory accounts and other statutory returns
- Improve policies and procedures
- Ad-hoc projects
- Relevant experience in a broad role in a Finance team, ideally suited to a Part Qualified Accountant
- Highly analytical
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
- Strong IT skills
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and strong communicator
- Self-motivating and able to work on own initiative
