- Accountability for developing contract offerings, in collaboration with stakeholders, for large pharmacy chains, grocers, and groups in the US
- Review work performed by others and provide recommendations for improvement
- Forecasts and plans for contract values to be determined by offers for contracting and network teams
- Analyze network and/or provider performance along ley indicators (e.g. compliance with regulatory audits; financial performance; risk adjustment scores; prevalence rates; Unit Cost Reduction) in order to determine which programs to implement and/ or modify
- Provide direction to analytics teams regarding market application of data, intelligence, and create roadmaps for deployment and monetization of analytics solutions
- Develops 'tradeables' tool kits for contract managers, showing levers for value
- Authorizes deviations from standards
- May lead functional or segment teams or projects
- Provides explanations and information to others on the most complex issues
- Motivates and inspires other team members
- Supports senior leadership team in presenting financial consequences of decision making
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent
- Finance or Accountancy degree
- Proven ability to work collaboratively and influence across a matrix environment to deliver financial goals
- Proven extensive work experience in strategic and business development roles, ideally in related industry (Pharmacy Benefit Management, Pharmaceuticals, Life Sciences, etc.)
- Demonstrated understanding of competitive landscape and familiarity with pharmaceuticals industry or healthcare industry
- Demonstrated solid communication and influencing skills with internal and external stakeholders
