Matrix Recruitment is seeking candidates for a Group QHSE Manager for our clients brand-new, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility based in Waterford.Excellent package on offer !We're looking for an experienced Group QHSE Manager to champion safety, quality, and environmental excellence across multiple sites. This is a pivotal role where you'll shape standards, lead improvements, and influence every level of the business.Your New Role
Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive a positive, proactive safety-first culture across all sites.
  • Lead audits, inspections, and risk assessments, ensuring compliance and continuous improvement.
  • Keep the business aligned with ISO standards (ISO 9001, 45001, 14001) and evolving legislation.
  • Provide expert advice and training to staff and managers at all levels.
  • Report directly to senior management, shaping strategy and best practice.
  • Be the point of contact for regulators and external audits.
What You Need:
  • Qualification in Occupational Health & Safety.
  • 5 years + experience at this level.
  • Experience managing QHSE across multiple sites in construction, manufacturing, or a similar sector.
  • Strong knowledge of QHSE law, standards, and ISO systems.
  • The ability to lead, influence, and communicate effectively with teams at all levels.
