I am working with a leading advisory firm to recruit a senior hire into their Sustainability team, focused on biodiversity, nature and land use. This is a key appointment and will operate as a right hand to the Director, supporting the delivery and growth of this area across Ireland.This role will suit someone coming from an ecology or environmental consultancy background, with strong exposure to land use, planning and stakeholder engagement, who is now looking to step into a more advisory, client-facing environment.The RoleLead and deliver client engagements across biodiversity, land use and natural capital
Provide clear, practical advice to senior stakeholders across public and private sector clients
Work across areas including ecological impact, land-use strategy, nature-related disclosures and policy
Engage directly with stakeholders including landowners, public bodies and infrastructure clients
Support business development and contribute to the growth of the function
Act as a key support to the Director in shaping and delivering projectsThe PersonStrong background in biodiversity, ecology and land use within Ireland
Experience delivering EIAR, Appropriate Assessment or similar planning-related work
Good understanding of the Irish planning system and land environment
Comfortable engaging with stakeholders and operating in a client-facing role
Ability to translate technical detail into clear, commercial advice
Experience within consultancy or advisory environments is highly desirableWhat’s on OfferSenior-level role with clear progression at Associate Director level
