- Represent the European Finance Team on business/product/system expansion.
- Understand the impact of changes on existing finance processes, reporting and accounting.
- Work with the wider team to manage resolution of accounting and reconciliation issues.
- Develop and agree new changes to existing processes, as appropriate.
- Implement required changes, including reporting changes.
- Manage SOX implementation for the European finance insurance team.
- Support internal and external audit processes, as required.
- Help to develop, implement, and maintain robust accounting and financial controls across the Company.
- Support finance transformation to drive process and system improvements to enable
- Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA) with relevant financial services experience ideally in the Insurance sector
- Strong communication skills
- Previous consultancy and/or project/process experience or an interest in moving away from the month end process.
