The Mini Bus Driver will support our Youth Development Officers by being available on agreed afternoons/evenings to drive the minibus so that groups can go on outings or be transported from where they live to/from a local youth service. • To support Youth Workers in planning outings - times, length of journey etc. • To look after the general upkeep of bus whilst using it, in partnership with the youth workers, ensuring it is clean and tidy after each use. • To provide a warm welcome to young people accessing the youth services transport. • To ensure the diesel is topped up as required. • To complete H&S checks sheet & mileage sheet each time the bus is used and report any concerns to the Manager. • To be willing to work as part of a team. • To ensure keys and fuel card are stored securely within the youth service after each journey and the bus is stored in the designated bus space after each shift. • To take the bus to/from garages to be repaired/serviced. Must have a D1 License
