- Develop and implement BIM protocols, standards, and workflows within the architectural firm.
- Manage the design and delivery of large, technical projects is beneficial.
- Communicate with clients regarding BIM requirements, deliverables, and project progress to ensure alignment with their expectations.
- Facilitate collaboration among different disciplines and stakeholders by managing BIM coordination meetings, run clash detection and manage BIM meetings.
- Conduct regular quality control checks on drawings and models, ensuring compliance with project BIM Execution Plans.
- Degree in BIM Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 6 to 8 years of experience as an Architectural BIM Manager.
- Proficient in setting up and managing complex Revit models.
- Skilled in creating Revit families
- Availability to travel and work from other locations as required by project needs.
- Knowledge of BIM processes for information management in line with BS/PAS1192 and ISO19650-1/2.
- Proficiency in preparing BIM Execution Plans and implement client BIM requirements on projects.
- Proficiency in federated models and ensuring delivery in accordance with project BIM requirements, including updates to standard settings.
- Experience with scripting and programming (e.g., Dynamo, Python, Grasshopper, Rhino, Inside, Revit) to automate BIM processes.
- Proficiency in clash detection and issue resolution processes, preferably with Navisworks and/or ACC Model Coordination.
- Collaboration with multidisciplinary external design teams to ensure seamless integration of design elements using Autodesk Construction Cloud/BIM 360 Docs, and publish Revit, Navisworks, IFC, and DWG files as needed.
- Setup and attend virtual design review meetings and utilize Navisworks or similar software to coordinate with other disciplines when necessary.
- Oversee changes to the models by organizing and directing the work for the teams they manage. At times, the BIM Manager (Architecture) also coordinates other teams, ensuring they set the pace and direction in response to issues or changes.
