- Manage kitchen operations, including ingredient procurement, recipe standardization, food preparation, and presentation.
- Lead, train, and inspire a team of kitchen staff to ensure culinary and hygienic standards are met.
- Collaborate with management to control kitchen costs, improve efficiency, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Spearhead the culinary aspect of events, creating bespoke menus and overseeing their execution to high standards.
- Proven experience as a Head Chef in a high-volume, upscale hotel or restaurant.
- Culinary arts training from a reputable institution; additional certifications in hospitality management a plus.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of developing a cohesive team.
- Creative culinary skills with the ability to forecast and react to dining trends.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with proficiency in managing budgets and cost controls.
