- Conduct thorough research on local market trends, skills requirements, and economic drivers within the assigned territory.
- Identify and engage with key stakeholders, including ETBs, Skillnets, and Regional Skills Fora.
- Establish and nurture relationships with ETBs, focusing on developing supercentres that deliver a range of our courses, including recognised qualifications, short courses, bootcamps, and future products.
- Develop strategies to engage with local employers, promoting our short-form courses and part-time bootcamps as solutions to their workforce development needs.
- Achieve corporate sales targets through tailored solutions that align with employer requirements.
- Work with marketing and product teams to tailor offerings to meet local market demands, leveraging the company’s status as an Ofsted ‘Outstanding’ provider.
- Promote brand awareness and market penetration within the territory through targeted campaigns and events.
- Represent Code Institute at industry events, webinars, and on social media, positioning the company as a thought leader in the education and skills training sector.
- Respond to requests for participation in external events and contribute content to industry publications.
- Revenue.
- Engagement Levels: Increase event attendance, webinar participation, and social media engagement.
- Partnerships: Establish a targeted number of new partnerships with local skills providers, businesses, and other stakeholders.
- Feedback: Achieve positive qualitative feedback from at least 80% of partners and stakeholders.
- Business Impact: Generate many new business opportunities and qualified leads.
- Thought Leadership: Secure invitations to participate in external events and contribute to industry content, achieving set targets.
- Proven experience in business development, particularly within the education, training, or skills sector.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders, including educators, employers, and government bodies.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to align business objectives with market opportunities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and travel regularly within the territory.
