- Build and optimize data pipelines, logic, and storage systems with the latest coding practices and industry standards, modern design patterns, and architectural principles; remove technical impediments.
- Develop high-quality, well-documented, and efficient code adhering to all applicable Prudential standards.
- Conduct complex data analysis and report on results, prepare data for prescriptive and predictive modeling, and combine raw information from different sources.
- Collaborate with data analysts, scientists, and architects on data projects to enhance data acquisition, transformation, organization processes, data reliability, efficiency, and quality.
- Write unit, integration tests, and functional automation, researching problems discovered by quality assurance or product support, and developing solutions to address the problems.
- Bring a strong understanding of relevant and emerging technologies, provide input and coach team members, and embed learning and innovation in the day-to-day.
- Work on complex problems in which analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangible variables.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Fabric: Extensive experience with Microsoft Fabric's architecture, components, and development tools.
- Programming Languages: Strong skills in languages supported by Microsoft Fabric, such as C#, .NET, and JavaScript.
- Cloud Computing: Knowledge of cloud platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure, and how to integrate Microsoft Fabric within cloud solutions.
- Data Management: Ability to work with databases and data management tools, including SQL Server and Azure SQL Database.
- Business Intelligence: Experience with BI tools and frameworks to leverage data for business decision-making.
- Web Services and APIs: Development and integration of web services and APIs using Microsoft Fabric.
- Security Protocols: Understanding of security best practices and protocols within Microsoft Fabric to ensure data protection.
- Project Management: Ability to manage projects, timelines, and resources effectively to meet business objectives.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
- Team Collaboration: Experience working in teams and collaborating with other departments to align development with business goals.
- Version Control Systems: Proficiency in using version control systems like Git for code management.
- Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile development practices to enhance productivity and project management.
- Continuous Integration/Deployment: Experience with CI/CD pipelines to automate testing and deployment processes.
- Data Science/Data Analytics background
- Proficiency in Microsoft Fabric
- Strong skills in C#, .NET, and JavaScript
