In addition to gaining on the job insurance experience, you will complete the insurance industry professional qualifications APA and QFA as well as a Level 8 Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Insurance Practice (Apprenticeship).If you can commit to a 3-year programme, study at a BA (Hons) level and work at the same time and want to develop a career that has a career path for success then we want to hear from you!What will I be doing?As Part of your Apprenticeship in our Life Insurance Business you will:Learning about all aspects of our life and pension business from new business to claims.Processing customer requests to a high standard and within our service levels.You will also be responsible for liaising with other internal departments in dealing with ongoing queries and delivering the right outcomes for our customers.Demonstrating the Aviva values and working both on an individual basis and within a team.Stay up to date with industry developments, trends, and best practices, identify and recommend opportunities for improvement on processes, products and services.Undertake relevant training and provide support with various projects and initiatives as needed.Be working in one of our teams 4 days a week from our Dublin office collaborating with team members and 1 college day from home (currently Thursdays). You will initially be trained in one of our teams. We encourage team staff to train cross functionally so there will be the possibility of working in different teams during the 3 year programme.Where will I be based?This Apprenticeship placement will be based 4 days a week in our Dublin Cherrywood office, (with one day at home for college.) Once training is completed hybrid working may be an option.When is this programme beginning?If you are successful in your first stage screening call you will need to be able to attend one of our Virtual Assessment Centres between 20th to 30th May 2024. Successful candidates will then be offered their roles and the start date will be in August.What is the eligibility to join the programme?The apprenticeship programme is supported by Solas and there are minimum entry requirements to apply.Please indicate on your application that you meet the criteria.
