- Lead inventory planning and scheduling in line with business demand and forecasts
- Manage inventory control, including forecasting, costing, and optimisation
- Monitor stock levels, aging inventory, and surplus materials, driving appropriate actions
- Ensure accurate inventory valuation and adherence to costing systems
- Develop and implement commodity and sourcing strategies
- Lead RFQs, tender processes, and supplier evaluations
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers and logistics providers
- Build strong supplier relationships and drive continuous performance improvement
- Monitor supplier KPIs and implement corrective actions where required
- Ensure compliance with SOX, CPSR, FAR, and DFAR requirements
- Act as the accountable person for Sarbanes-Oxley compliance at site level
- Maintain accurate ERP data and support audit processes
- Review freight costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction
- Develop and track KPIs to monitor supply chain performance
- Analyse data to identify efficiencies, cost savings, and improvement opportunities
- Support business case development for sourcing and operational decisions
- Produce reports and present insights to senior stakeholders
- Lead and develop a high-performing supply chain team
- Foster a collaborative and transparent working culture
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to achieve operational goals
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field
- 7+ years' experience in supply chain or procurement roles
- 4+ years' experience in a leadership or management capacity
- Strong knowledge of supply chain processes, procurement, and supplier management
- Familiarity with SOX, CPSR, FAR, and DFAR regulations
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Experience in aerospace or a highly regulated industry is highly desirable
