Health & Safety Advisor

• Ensure site compliance with current HSE legislation, best practices, and internal standards.
• Manage and review Risk Assessments (RAs) and Safe Working Operating Procedures (SWOPs).
• Deliver site inductions and HSE training for new staff, contractors, and visitors.
• Lead incident reporting and investigation processes, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Conduct regular internal audits and safety inspections, maintaining HSE records and documentation.
• Coordinate the site safety committee and manage HSE communications, including KPI reporting.
• Oversee PPE inventory and support site teams in hazard identification and risk mitigation.
• Contribute to the ongoing development and monitoring of the site safety plan.

• Relevant HSE qualifications (e.g., IOSH/NEBOSH).
• Strong knowledge of H&S and Environmental legislation and systems.
• Proven experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage across all levels of the organisation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Self-starter with strong organizational and time-management abilities.
