Marketing Specialist/Coordinator (1 day per week)Role Overview:As a Marketing Specialist/Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in growing awareness, engagement, and revenue for our brand working closely with our PR Agency and Digital Design and Marketing Agency. Working cross-functionally, you'll lead impactful campaigns, improve content quality and user journeys, and drive digital performance. This role combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution across social media, events, PR, content creation, and sales/marketing support.Key Responsibilities:Digital Strategy & Performance
  • Develop and implement digital strategies to support awareness, engagement, and revenue goals.
  • Regurlarly report on digital channel performance, providing actionable insights.
  • Monitor trends and opportunities in digital marketing, applying them to drive continuous improvement.
Social Media & Advertising
  • Plan, manage, and optimise paid social campaigns.
  • Test targeting, creative formats, and messaging to improve campaign outcomes.
  • Support the wider social media strategy with insights and content best practices.
Content & Visuals
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to enhance content quality across web, social, and email platforms.
  • Assist in creating visual content using tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Ensure all content is engaging, user-focused, and aligned with the brand's voice and tone.
Email Marketing
  • Plan and execute targeted email campaigns using segmentation and automation tools.
  • Monitor engagement metrics and refine strategies to improve performance.
Website & E-commerce
  • Partner with our external Digital Design & Marketing Agency to manage website content and user experience, ensuring a seamless journey for visitors.
  • Use analytics to improve conversion rates and support income-generation activities.
  • Implement practical SEO strategies to increase visibility and traffic.
Event Marketing & PR
  • Coordinate marketing efforts for events, including planning, promotion, and follow-up.
  • Support PR initiatives to enhance brand reputation and media presence.
Reporting & Analysis
  • Use tools like Google Analytics to track performance and inform decision-making.
  • Communicate insights and learnings to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Person Specification:Essential Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience in a digital marketing role (agency or in-house).
  • Strong understanding of digital strategy and campaign execution.
  • Hands-on experience with social media ads management and targeting.
  • Proficient in using analytics and reporting tools (e.g., GA4).
  • Experience in website and content management (no coding required).
  • Working knowledge of SEO principles and e-commerce platforms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple projects.
  • Collaborative mindset with a passion for continuous learning.
Desirable Skills & Experience
  • Experience with CRM systems and marketing automation tools.
  • Visual content creation using design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Exposure to agency or vendor management.

Qualifications:
  • Degree in marketing, digital media, communications, or equivalent experience.
