For the Administration Assistant training placement, this programme is designed to provide participants with practical experience and structured learning opportunities in a professional office environment. Aligned with WPEP guidelines, the placement ensures a balance of formal and non-formal training to equip participants with essential administrative skills and workplace readiness in General Office duties, these may include but not limited to:  Send & Receive correspondences via phone, E-mail and letter,  filling  posting  banking  updating policies and procedures,  dealing with fundraisers and  Experience in day to day running of a busy organisation. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the Chairperson in this dynamic role.Role Description This is a training and work experience opportunity; no prior experience in this role is necessary. Accredited and/or sector recognised training will be provided to support your placement. Participants are eligible to participate in the WPEP QQI Work Experience Module which was developed by the Education & Training Boards in collaboration with the Department of Social Protection. This optional module will fulfil your accredited training requirements for the WPEP. Formal Training: - QQI Course via WPEP - Training courses through the wheel in GDPR and Data - Canva Informal Training in: - Office administration - how to deal with banking in an Office environment. - Office software - Training in Fundraising platforms eg. idonate, qr codes, enthuse - Training in all our local systems
